Pulmonary and Critical Care

Pulmonary means “pertaining to the lungs”. If someone has a lung disease that means they have pulmonary disease and that may be affect their ability to breathe well.  A lung disease or pulmonary disease is often treats us by a pulmonologist including the treating of lung and breathing issues ranging from asthma to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease to lung cancer. Pulmonologists perform lung procedures such as bronchoscopy, a procedure that allows a medical professional to visualize the inside of lungs, but they do not perform lung surgeries
